Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: I heard Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) saying, “While I was sleeping, I saw that a cup full of milk was brought to me and I drank of it and gave the remaining of it to `Umar bin Al-Khattab.” They asked. What have you interpreted (about the dream)? O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)?” The Prophet (ﷺ) said. “(It is Religious) knowledge.” — Sahih al-Bukhari 7032 2. Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) embraced me and said, “O Allah! Teach him (the knowledge of) the Book (Qur’an).” — Sahih al-Bukhari 7270 3. Narrated Ibn Mas`ud: “I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, “There is no envy except in two: a person who God has given wealth and he spends it in the right way, and a person whom Allah has given wisdom (ie religious knowledge) and he gives His decisions accordingly and teaches it to the others.
